Family sits at the centre of my world. Everyday joy for me is my husband and our two daughters, and our dog Benji who turns ordinary moments playful. I keep a gentle rhythm between home and work and find real fulfilment in both. I am the careful one, while he nudges me to say yes, especially when we travel. Those small agreements teach me to meet the unknown with curiosity, the same spirit I bring to my work as a Psychotherapist in Mumbai and an individual therapist, offering individual counselling, couple counselling and family counselling.
Mindfulness has transformed my living and practice patterns. It forms my anchor and assists me to remain present and balanced no matter what the day is. Moving my body keeps my wellbeing on track, giving me clarity and calm energy. Time with friends and family, a long talk over tea, a shared laugh, a quiet walk, keeps me grounded and close. Music is a constant too, I dip into many genres and follow whatever moves me. As a psychologist in India, I deal with individuals, couples, and families and practice couples therapy Mumbai, teen counselling, as well as, in some cases, small group work in a mindful, cooperative manner.
When it comes to the end of the day, I prefer reading a book. I read extensively, occasionally to further my knowledge on behalf of the clients through child counselling, teen counselling and individual counselling as well as due to the mere enjoyment of a light read. Learning helps me show up with calm attention for concerns like anxiety treatment and depression counselling, as well as support for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Reading is my small refuge, a place to pause, reflect and recharge, so I can return to my work as a marriage and family therapist with warmth, clear focus and care for the people I meet among therapists in Mumbai.
Come as you are. Being a Psychotherapist in Mumbai and an individual therapist, I maintain a stable and relaxed time with my clients. You will experience a relaxing, conducive environment to come with whatever is in your mind. You set the pace. Say a lot or a little, and we will make sense of it together. Each session is a small, steady step toward the life you want through gentle individual counselling.

In order to make the most out of our time together, we would like to request that you book your appointments in advance. Scheduling will be helped out by my assistant, Sonali Kale (+91 82916 77131). Being a Psychotherapist in Mumbai, and a therapist one to one, I treasure the time we spend on the job, and I beg you to feel the same. In case of lateness, we can start the session using the phone and the session will complete at the scheduled time. I shall of course cover any loss on my part.
Personal sessions: 30 minutes.

The transition from child to teenager is challenging. You look and feel different, and there are new expectations for your behavior.

It is a pattern of unwanted thoughts and fears (obsessions) that lead to repetitive behaviours (compulsions).
In some circumstances, when you are travelling, we can connect for individual counselling online. This keeps our work steady and close, so your therapy continues without interruption.
Sometimes, alongside our conversations, I may suggest gentle psychometric testing. These assessments can deepen our understanding of your strengths, personality patterns and any possible diagnoses, so we can shape a plan that fits you. Psychometric tests are charged separately.
To keep our work steady and fair, please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Without notice, the session fee applies in full. This protects our space and honours the time we set aside together.
